Briefly
A protectorate is one of seven subdivisions of Doman land headed by an official known as the Keeper of the protectorate. These are a very recent creation, created by King Charles Domanada as a counterbalance to his power and made in direct response to the ease with which fallen angel Malachias seized power of Doman lands during the Malachian War in 1313 EP.
The seven protectorates of Doma are Domador, Kohlidor, Enchudor, Smiildor, Hyraldor, Yamaedor, and Ridhondor.
