A prosperous Doman city known for its production of quality rum.
History
In 1313, during the Malachian War, all news coming in and out of Kyok ceased. Soon after, several men from both the Inner Doman Defense Force and Castle Hyral disappeared without explanation.
Investigation was forestalled until after the war by which all trails had long since gone cold. Later, only a few weeks before Ishmas of that same year, a demon named Saedeus contacted a number of Domans, claiming responsibility for the disappearances and goading them to come meet him north of Kyok.
The party found the city to be a ghost town. After defeating Saedeus and his underling Alathana, many of the townspeople were to be rescued from the tower, as were the men who whose disappearance had initially begun the investigation.
Ironically, Saedeus's presence prevented Malachias's minions from sacking the town of Kyok during their searches for Kerov Altec.
