A Gre'par'thian hatchling, by Choark.

While otherwise seemingly identical to most other humans, Gre'par'thian women give birth to eggs, from which their children hatch from a month later. This is the only way to tell these people apart from normal humans.

Could also be considered a subrace of dragon; other pages related to dragon races include draken, dragon, dray'kin, griffon, and long.

Kar'neet
LIFESPAN: 80 yrs
CONCERNED DEITY (DEITIES): Ishtar
ORIGINAL CREATOR(S) / EXPERT(S): Elementalist Daien
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:

half of the face and most of the body is that of a normal human's; however, the other half is similar to that of a squid or an octopus, and the fingers and toes are actually small tentacles; pale skin, may have squid grey patches; all normal human colors plus all black or all white, with no distinction from pupil and iris; most commonly white or grey hair; hair changes color early

SPECIAL SKILLS:

affinity for water, psychic powers; heightened dexterity; special marine animal-related skills/powers; weakness against lightning, easy dehydration; weakness against acids and toxins (including alcohol)

MISC:

The Kar'neet were originally a civilization of humans living to the south. The Kar'neet have slowly evolved to their current form due to a parasitic, hereditary ailment. The Kar'neet usually hate this part of them, and try to act more like their human counterparts. Therefore, the Kar'neet, while having to live in caves due to their ailment, try to keep contact with their human side. Therefore their civilization is like humans', despite some cultural differences, and they are usually followers of Ishtar. Despite that, they will not hesitate to use their powers if need be.

Valthi
LIFESPAN: 90* (see misc)
CONCERNED DEITY (DEITIES): Ishtar
ORIGINAL CREATOR(S) / EXPERT(S): NamagomiMk0
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:

tall (around 5'6"-6'9"); pale or slightly fair skin; eye color includes all normal colors, minus blue, plus red and violet; hair includes all normal colors, minus blond, plus blue and silver-white; build widely varies

SPECIAL SKILLS:

resistance/familiarity with cold; high technological affinity and expertise

MISC:

[NEEDS UPDATING] The average age is hard to determine due to a number of things, including the civil war, Valth's high crime rate, murders, manslaughter, executions, etc. Valthi normally do not speak a common language with the rest of the world and thus it is harder for them to communicate with outsiders. The government doesn't bother trying to discover magical potential in people, so anyone who DOES have magical potential is usually no different from someone who doesn't, unless they accidentally discover it themselves. Typically speaking, Valthi have a low magic affinity.
