The Kar'neet were originally a civilization of humans living to the south. The Kar'neet have slowly evolved to their current form due to a parasitical, hereditary ailment. Therefore, the Kar'neet, while having to live in caves due to their ailment, try to keep contact with their human side. Therefore their civilization is like humans', despite some cultural differences, and they are usually followers of Ishtar. Despite that, they will not hesitate to use their powers if need be.
