Nekoko Kitiwai

Nekoko is princess of Nekonia. A rambunctious child and sometimes uncontrollable, Nekoko did not find her way until she ran into a martial artist by the name of Ua Rang. Ua Rang taught her an ancient style of martial arts and turned her into a responsible princess--for a while. When her parents were attacked at the Kitiwai Karnival, Nekoko's emotions got the better of her training and she decided to leave the throne in order to track down the cause of the problem. She eventually found out that Chaos, a mentally unstable inujin boy, was in fact this cause.

However, Nekoko found a young injured inujin boy that called himself Canal Turnriver. His tenderness and kindness restored her faith in the inujin but she soon discovered the Canal was Chaos. In spite of this she found a new mission to restore Canal's sanity and peace between her two nations.

Successfully establishing Canal in the mountains where he can meditate himself back to sanity, Nekoko still feels the call of adventure. She believes that by seeing much of Igala, living like a commoner, and facing many difficult experiences, she can become an effective queen when the time comes. She frequents her own nation and Doma but hopes to travel beyond that one day and see other continents. She carries with her a world map and travels the roads without fear.
