Baron line of kings (Baron)

The Baron family ruled the country of Baron from its 'official' founding in 1189 BT until the successor family, the Harvey line, took power circa 915 EP. It should be noted that while the history of Baron reaches much further in history than merely 1189 BT, historians generally recognize that the country was unified as a single culture when the Baron family took rule.

timeline:

• 1189 BT: Baron is founded, upon the Baron clan's completion of a series of trials and tournaments set up by Odin.
• 1100-1090 BT: Baron engages in its first long-term skirmish with enemy forces as several clans from the desert lands unite in order to take control of the northern lands, hoping to take advantage of the young nation's recent loss of their powerful leader, Odin. During this time, much of Baron Castle is damaged and has to be repaired. Wilham Baron emerges victorious, rewarding the clans most instrumental in this victory. Their family name was given the title of 'house', denoting prestige and privilege the eyes of their monarch. This would mark the beginning said tradition, as well as more visible aristocracy in Baron.
• c. 915 EP: With the help of several clans and cohorts from across Igala, Celial Harvey puts an end to the reign of the Baron family. At the insistence of both his comrades and the people of the nation, he takes the throne as the first of the Harvey line of kings.
