Briefly
The Ridhon Delta forms where the Ridhon River spreads out and drains into the Val'ri Sea. The delta is full of land excellent for farming as the river regularly deposits loose silt and similar detritus.
History
When Riva gained its independence from Doma in 111 BT, a significant concession made in Doma's favor was that Doma would retain control of the Ridhon River and its Delta. For this and other reasons Riva was able to become its own nation without a war.
