A roughly rectangular-shaped nation on Igala's east, Doma's western border runs along the Shuman Mountains; its eastern border meets the Val'Ri Sea; its northern border is shared with the nation of Riva; and its southern border tapers off into the Forbidden Plains. It is ruled by a limited monarchy, with current monarchs King Charles Domanada and Queen Aya du Mythril Domanada.
Doma is the 'melting pot' of Igala, or perhaps its asylum--in multiple senses of the word. The country as a whole accepts people of many races and backgrounds, taking acceptance to great--oftentimes ridiculous--levels. It is fortunate that amongst those accepted are the unaccepting, to keep things in balance.

Domanada Castle--
Located in the center of Doma City, Doma, is the home of the royal Domanada family. There is an ongoing joke about there being many guards in the castle, but it is a fact that the castle has much stricter security these days than it has had in the past, before some rather unfortunate...security issues.
pd Rydia (6:21:48 PM): to the castle's physical description
pd Rydia (6:21:53 PM): it's for the mush

pd Rydia (6:34:56 PM): k
PapatymisonN (6:54:39 PM): Doma Castle is a stronghold within the boundaries of Doma City. Its 9' walls are composed of mostly granite, though these walls are reinforced with steel (not to mention a persistent, mild protection spell) for strength. Its two 7' doors lay within an arch, and give way to a green, flowered courtyard, with pathways leading over manmade waterways. At the end of the courtyard is the main building, which stands 4 stories high, with 4 towers on each corner. (cont'd...)
PapatymisonN (7:11:39 PM): The first floor has mostly halls for banquets, the castle's library, and quarters for on-grounds knights. The second floor has the throne room, and the Keeper Council chambers. The third floor has mostly research facilities, both magical and otherwise. The fourth floor contains the king's bedchamber and study, and is a secondary armory, with mostly bows and arrows for sieges. There are three basement levels beneath the castle. The first contains on-grounds guard quarters, escape tunnels, the primary armory, and an accompanying kitchen and minor recreational facilites. The second level is actually a prison for non-magical, serious criminals (the idea being that the castle is even harder to exit than it is to enter) and the third is for serious, magical criminals, contained in specially designed magic-deadening cells. All in all, the castle is (cont'd...)
PapatymisonN (7:11:51 PM): ... actually, I... can't think of dimensions.
PapatymisonN (7:13:02 PM): Um... 150' by 200'? Or is that too big?
pd Rydia (7:13:16 PM): dun think it's that important. o_o
pd Rydia (7:13:24 PM): it's supposed to be a brief descript, for the MUSH
pd Rydia (7:13:30 PM): though big for the wiki is great
PapatymisonN (7:14:14 PM): Sorry. Didn't want to leave anything out.
pd Rydia (7:19:34 PM): Domanada Castle--
Located in the center of Doma City, Doma, is the home of the royal Domanada family. There is an ongoing joke about there being many guards in the castle, but it is a fact that the castle has much stricter security these days than it has had in the past, before some rather unfortunate...security issues.
The granite walls of the castle are reinforced with steel as well as a mild protection spell. Double doors within an archway give way to a green, flowered courtyard, with bridges leading over manmade waterways. At the end of the courtyard is the central structure, which stands four stories high. Within are, amongst other things, banquet halls, a library, knights' quarters, research facilities, an two armories. The second floor hosts the throne room and the Keeper Council chambers.
pd Rydia (7:19:45 PM): how is that for concising the necessities? for the MUSH? PapatymisonN (7:20:09 PM): Thumbs up. PapatymisonN (7:20:21 PM): I shall save both for convenience! pd Rydia (7:21:09 PM): I will thus make a post! PapatymisonN (7:21:16 PM): Oh, that reminds me. I need to write the Protectorates entry for the wiki. PapatymisonN (7:22:51 PM): But later. Right now, I need shower and leaving for a thing I do. PapatymisonN is away at 7:23:36 PM. pd Rydia (7:24:03 PM): kayo!
