MISC:

Kumajin are generally a rather subdued and reclusive race. That's not to say that they're hostile towards outsiders, just wary. Kumajin live in harmony with the land, usually in villages and dwellings of varying complexity in forests and caves. Kumajin government and politics are largely nonexistent, as they live in a somewhat tribal environment, where only just enough power is vested in any one kumajin to run things and settle disputes. This may seem a bit weak and chaotic to some, but it fits in perfectly with the laid-back, easygoing lifestyle of the kumajin. In fact, an observer would be hard pressed to decide which they put more effort into; work, or relaxation. Although kumajin may appear lazy, when they get to work, they work hard, and get the job done. Physically, the kumajin are a large, muscular race that are slow to anger, but are still a force to be reckoned with. Though they may seem to be simple minded, kumajin actually know a great deal, but their knowledge mainly covers the natural, not the magical or synthetic. As such, kumajin magicians and engineers are almost nonexistent, and the majority of magical talent displayed by any kumajin is druidic in nature. Kumajin enjoy good food and friendly competition, value strength of mind and body, and revere nature.
