The only known village of sushijin was on a small tropical island, far south of Igala. In 1305, an enourmous magic attack wiped out the village, killing all the sushijin there. The attackers, as well as the total list of surivors (very few known to this present day) of the tragic accident remain unknown.

Sushijin were known, amongst those knowledgeable of their race, for studying an obscure type of ninja arts, which involve a style of two-handed blades.
