Librae Llhomet
Librae Llhomet is an usagijin man who succeeded to power after the death of Guerrier Noble. Studious, shrewd, and charismatic--if not particularly strong--Librae knew that the usagijin of the Woodlands were tired of the harsh rule they suffered under Guerrier. Guerrier's aspiring successor had little chance as Librae rallied his countrymen and women to, 'once and for all, depose of the military tyranny which they had never asked for, and never wanted.'
The tribes of the Woodlands rarely act together, but here the results were swift and efficient.
Librae slightly miscalculated, however. The usagijin intended to take over rule of the nation, instating rule by intellectuals. He did so; however, his rule was short-lived. Swiftly the central government dissolved as tribes reverted to their traditional autonomy. Wisely, Librae cut his ambitions short and contented himself with this situation.
Librae's brief rule of the Woodlands has had a dramatic influence on the usagijin tribes today. Almost all tribes follow Librae's example of rule by intellectual. While the actual structure of this varies from tribe to tribe, as does the definition of "intellectual," tribes ruled elsewise are generally frowned upon.
