I've also been operating under the assumption that it's another plane, and I haven't seen anyone else do anything differently. As for multiple hells, "hell" is pretty much a general term for any plane that really really sucks, since even the "generic bad place" in the afterlife is ''also'' called Hell, at least colloquially. I don't think it has an "official" name.

It would be fair to say that any awful plane (or at least any plane harboring demons) that's close enough to Gaera's plane to facilitate travel... may as well be ''a hell.''

The underworld. Hell. The seven hells. What have you.

There seem to be multiple hells/underworlds to Gaera Main (one Sirvix Malone hails from, one Malachias ruled, et cetera). I'm thinking the Underrealm is a bit different from just 'underground'--perhaps a plane unto itself. A number of nekogami's characters' BGs speak of the underrealm needing portals to get to the middlerealm/Gaera, which seems to support this.

Thoughts?
