mammmalian but very nearly hairless (hair is a mutation); height range 3-5", 4" common; skin colors--greens, browns, and reds; all have freckles; eye colors range spectrum; sharp nails, fangs, carnivorous; short-tempered, pointy ears, big eyes, mostly nocturnal and subterranean; few differences between male and female
