Special Gre'Par'th eggs are picked from 'birth' and are stored in a special chamber with the Wolf-Pigs. When the egg hatches, the child may get a special connection to the Wolf-Pigs, allowing the child and the Wolf-Pigs to speak to each other. The first Wolf-Pig that the child connects with stays with the child throughout the child's life, never leaving their side. They have a special affinity to magic that draws off the wind.
