Idran1701 (11:11:40 PM): ...though I'd suggest avoiding the uppermost layer...it's so disease-ridden that you'd be putting your life at risk just stepping foot on it.

Idran1701 (11:48:37 PM): An easy-enough accomplishment...the wine is obtained, spilt, and the portal opens, the trio stepping through.
Idran1701 (11:49:16 PM): On the other side...the portal's bounds appear much the same, though from a single massive branch. They appear to be upon the limb of some massive ash tree, hovering within a foggy void.
Idran1701 (11:49:41 PM): The furthest ends of the tree in every direction vanish into the mist about them, as a slight chill cuts through those here that still feel warmth.
Idran1701 (11:50:43 PM): The massive limb seems to connect nearby to an even more massive trunk...though apparantly sideways, as if it was growing out the side of a cliff rather than the ground.
