Day 3 Lilium's allies don't appear to care for me much. Especially the robed one; Arian, I believe his name is. Apparantly, she's not actually the first, but they only know of two others before her. Still seems like a good topic, I say. They seem not entirely appreciative of my writings here, but hopefully that will cha Gods! This was...I don't even know how to describe it! We were just bombarded by...summoning spells, from what they say? Some...four of the caravan goers are gone...Lilium was amongst them, from the looks of things. Interesting that the spell would be so nondiscriminatory re: living/nonliving. Perhaps a reflection of her seeming lesser undead status? Could warrant investigation. I will _have_ to ask her about her experiences on the other end of the spell upon her return. This journey is already paying off, I can tell! Even better, Karl has revealed to me what they have discovered re: her creation. Intriguing process; the still living body was removed through removal of the soul, raised and animated, protected from the plane of negative energy (explains why she needs to eat the energy from an outside source), and enchanted so as to stave off rot. _Then_, the soul was _put back_. _That's_ the most intriguing part, a rare facet of undead creation normally only found in the quite powerful; i.e., liches, chiefly. (Arian mentioned some mage named the Kazerian. I'll have to ask about that later.) The first one was a "sorcerer-priest" of a deity...Wee Jas. Seems familiar sounding. Killed by a St. Bane, servant of another deity that I've never heard of, St. Cuthbert. Weird; why's a deity called saint? Second one created by a kocrachon named Karth'Zanon. Killed his creation himself after it waqs too free-willed. Lot of magical investment wasted, seems like to me. I'll have to look into him too. This book is going to be great...I'll have to start coming up with potential titles. Something to really come out on top of the "great" Ronassic's endless puns. If titles as obvious as those can be so popular, any can, I'm sure. I almost made a sale to one of their group, but he seemed to have backed out at the last minute. I may have to rewrite my pitch yet again, de-emphasize that whole "one day" aspect further. Damned enchantment; everyone focuses on the flaws, no one pays any attention to the convienence of it.
