Briefly
The Kalshanese Dark Age is the period of time which followed the Three Hundred Year War after the Church of Falis had helped bring it to an end through controlled teachings and misteachings which aimed to make the humans of the country scapegoats of the former conflict. During this age, the Church governed the country, accurate records were rarely kept, the land was unsafe for humankind, and it was a struggle for the average citizen to merely survive.
