Years

Igala

BT/EP

For Igala, the most common standard for measuring the passage of years is the BT/EP standard. This measures time relative to the year that the countries of Doma and Riva signed the Treaty of Enduring Peace. The year it was signed was known as 0 E.P. (Era of Peace), and years before this were dubbed B.T. (Before the Treaty), and numbered backwards.

To derive the current in-game year in EP, use the following formula:

  • (Present Earth Year BCE) - 690 = Igalan Year EP
  • EXAMPLE: 2007 - 690 = 1317 EP

Valth

Valth uses its own calendar. No word yet on the specifics, but sometime!

Prandia

In Prandia, years are measured relative to the continent's settlement. The common abbreviation is PY.

To derive the current in-game year in PY, use the following formula:

  • (Present Earth Year BCE) - 252 = Prandian Year PY
  • EXAMPLE: 2007 - 252 = 1755 PY
